I really like this. It's clean and crisp - like you'd expect in Borderlands and on a deck of cards - but it's still a unique style you've brought to it. Excellent job.

(It irritates me that when some people see a work with a similar concept/premise/whatever to something that has existed before and jump to sneer "PLAGIARISM, PLAGIARISM!" -- as if people can't make their own links and connections and come up with their own ideas that might result in a similar theme/concept/product. Especially in fanworks, which is essentially taking characters and concepts and worlds and just running with them, and further embedding them in everyday consciousness. Using universally recognised/enduring themes, images, and icons is a good way to do that - and who doesn't know the jack of hearts/diamonds? It's also annoying because the idea of putting a character on a playing card itself isn't even new (like you said about hundreds of people having the idea, there's plenty more than that who have styled different characters on playing cards) - and it's used because it's an established symbol, elegantly contained, visually pleasing, and highlights the duality of a character (with the vertical mirror image). It works especially well and is especially apt with Handsome Jack because his frickin' name is Jack, and as a character he works pretty much exclusively in paradoxes, duality, and extremes, and as a bonus has two distinct appearances of masked and scarred. It'd be nice if those kind of people recognised that if something similar has existed in some form before, it doesn't necessarily mean that someone's been stealing ideas. Parity and parallels are everywhere, and artists use those parallels often. There is nothing new under the sun.

TLDR: I hope that other person hasn't left a bad taste in your mouth, they did in mine. I just wanted to weirdly comment to counter that person's negativity. Sorry for rambling.)
